Professional Organizing

  • Sorting and decluttering folded towels during a home organizing session.

    Decluttering

If you’re keeping four of the same thing because you can’t find the other three, decluttering is the answer. I’ll ask questions that help you decide what still deserves space in your home and get more confident making those decisions on your own. I’ll haul away your donations at the end of each session.

    Organizing

Once we’ve cleared away the excess, it’s time to find a functional home for what’s left. We’ll create simple systems that make sense for you and your family, so that putting things away doesn’t require a second thought.

Your home will get messy again. Mine does, too. The goal is to make it easy to put back together.

  • Organized collection of dishes and serving pieces in kitchen cabinet

    Downsizing

Moving is the moment most people finally deal with the boxes they’ve been avoiding for years. Let’s do that before they get taped shut again. Moving is hard enough without packing and unpacking things you were already going to get rid of.

  • Sorting LEGO bricks by color into organizing containers

    Maintenance

Even organized homes will need a reset from time to time. Life gets chaotic, stuff creeps in, and systems break down. That’s normal.

When I come back for a maintenance session, we will get things back in order and figure out what’s working, what isn’t, and whether anything needs to change. Sometimes the system needs a tweak. Sometimes everyone just needs to start putting their shoes away again.

“Minimalism isn’t about removing things you love. It’s about removing the things that distract you from the things you love.”

— Joshua Becker, Author of Clutterfree With Kids

The stuff you love doesn’t need company. It needs room.
